As was the case with the Borderlands games, spin-offs Tiny Tina’s Wonderland launches random weapons in an endless stream, like a fountain, but with sniper rifles instead of water. These weapons can only be used if you’re at the right level for them, and it’s common for a quest to deliver something you won’t be able to wield until the next level. What is not common is for this level to be higher than what is currently achievable in the game.
Like afrankiewicz12 on Wonderland Subreddit sighted and commentators confirmed, you can receive weapons up to level 43 (in this case, a legendary machine gun that shoots fire bullets and does more damage after casting a spell). However, it is not possible to reach level 43. The level cap in Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is 40, and you will likely finish the main story around level 30.
However, hold on to any level 41+ weapon you find. With previous Borderlands games, the level cap has increased with the release of expansions and patches, and the first part of the season pass for Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands is scheduled to come out on April 21st. weapons to drop now, and in time, we will be able to reach a level high enough to fire that legendary fire bullet SMG, and anything else above the level cap that is allotted.
