Elden Ring’s Latest Bug Fix Means Radahn Will Kick Your Ass Again

Today’s Elden Ring update is a small but important one: return Starscourge Radahn to his rhythm.

The monstrous general fell victim to an unintentional nerf in patch 1.03 that reduced the power of some of his attacks. The big guy’s thing is that he’s a heavy hitter, deftly crushing anyone with low vitality in just one or two hits. It’s good to know that the bugs were taking care of us, but since it wasn’t planned, FromSoftware released a fix.

“Fixed a bug in the balance adjustment of the ‘Starscourge Radahn’ boss in Update 1.03 where the power of some attacks was unintentionally reduced,” reads the brief patch notes.

It’s probably the best. Radahn is one of the toughest bosses in the game, the kind of guy that makes you reconsider your build and desperately look for help. When I found it, I was navigating through bosses thanks to a super cheesy magic build, so I really appreciated the reminder that Elden Ring can kick me.

If you couldn’t get to Radahn when he was feeling down, you’re in for quite a fight, but you’ll come out the other side better for it. Good luck!
