I hope you’ve completed your last battle pass, because a new season of Call of Duty: Warzone Pacific starts today. session 3, classified weapons, is lighter on content at launch than in previous seasons, but players have something bigger to look forward to in May – Operation Monarch, a limited-time event that pits Godzilla and King Kong against each other on the shores of Caldera. That must be interesting.
But until the two baddies fight, this is a slightly smaller update. There’s a new battle pass as usual, some new points of interest in the Caldera (including a dig site that appears to contain the forgotten skeletons of Godzilla and Kong), and the return of Iron Trials, the hardcore twist on the battle royale that was popular in the past. original map of Verdansk from Warzone. Two new Vanguard weapons also appeared – the M1916 sniper rifle and the Nikita AVT assault rifle.
As usual, the quickest way to unlock these new weapons is by purchasing the battle pass and leveling up the first 20 tiers, which likely also feature some cosmetic packs for each weapon.
Raven Software is also making a significant change to Warzone’s sniper rifles. Snipers have become even more popular since health increased to 150 thanks to their ability to kill with a headshot. Raven likes snipers in this role, but is controlling them a bit by lowering the maximum range of a shot for many of them. Check out the patch notes for the exact changes but here are the snipers who will continue to kill with a headshot any range:
- HDR (MW)
- Sniper Rifle Charlie (MW)
- ZRG 20mm (BOCW)
- 3 Line Rifle (VG)
- Gorenko anti-tank rifle (VG)
Now it’s time to bite the bullet: the Season 3 update requires a 38GB PC download. If you’re updating Warzone and Modern Warfare 2019, it’s 98GB. So, if you aren’t playing Modern Warfare soon, but you still have it installed for some reason, save yourself some time by deleting it before starting this update.
