Sending eMails in Thunderbird (new ISP=BT)

Win XP + SP3. Toshiba laptop. 2Gb RAM.

Have just switched ISP's from Nildram/Tiscalli.

Use (only) Firefox & Thunderbird.

Can receive eMails but not send : SMTP authentication required.

There isnt anywhere to set this.

BT uses Yahoo for eMail.

Any ideas anyone...please!

Search Yahoo for POP3 or IMAP instructions for TB.
