Running DirectX from USB device?

I was wondering, my school doesnt have any directX installed and I want to run a program that requires directX 8.1+. I was just curious if there is anyway to run the program if i install directX or something onto my USB.

 

The computers at my school doesnt allow me to run the install file for directX btw.
