Nitro PDF Professional is [Expired]

I quoted "Free" because when you go through the checkout process you learn that there is an $18.01 shipping and handling charge...  Other than that, it's $60, but with a $40 mail-in rebate and a second $20 one.  I've ordered mine and the rebate process seems pretty straight-forward.  I downloaded a trial version from the Avanqest site to play with it and I must say the app is pretty awesome...  Hopfully this article will post before tomorrow (Tue 11-18-08) which is the last day....

Program is OK, but it seems too large in comparison with PDF-X Viewer Pro (over 40 MB after install) that offers same functionality and the ribbon inspired toolbar (Office 2007) is not very good for widescreen monitors, too much space being lost IMO.

It says that for $20 rebate one must submit the Competitive Manual Cover/CD. Where can I get this information? Should I send an actual CD for a competitive product?

Nice one, too bad it's US and Canada only.

Hi, I am writing from Perth, Australia. I would really like to get Nitro Pdf Professional for free. But could I even take advantage of the promotion and manage to obtain the rebates in time if I purchase the software, given I am not in the US?

Sorry about that... I wasn't being thoughtful of international readers...
Also it occurs to me that postage and handling *for me* was $18.01. It may vary based on location though.

I don't know if the offer is valid in Australia, but if it is, I should think you can take advantage of the deal. The rebates seem to focus on the *purchase* date rather than the date of delivery. Having said that, the postage charges for Australia may be much higher...
